Home > Experience EXPERIENCE Over the past 30+ years I have been involved in all areas of production, sales and management in the Converting and Rotary Die Cutting Industry. I have been involved in the product design, high-speed production, and packaging of custom designed products for the medical device, diagnostic, electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries. I also have an extensive knowledge of the machinery and tooling required to produce these products. With this engineering background of "hands on" production and business management, I have been an independent consultant to the converting industry for the past four years. I have been responsible for starting Converting and Rotary Die Cutting divisions for three different corporations, including a medical device manufacturer in England. I have designed and built specialty die cutting equipment and tooling for producing medical device and electronic products in a Class 10000 clean room. While starting these companies I served as VP/GM and was responsible for developing them into world class manufacturing facilities. This experience can be focused on your next Converting Project. INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE I have traveled extensively throughout Europe to do market surveys and sell die cut adhesive products to the medical device and diagnostic industry. In 1995, I moved to England for three years, as a consultant, to start a rotary die cutting and packaging division for an English company involved in the wound care business. As the General Manager/Consultant, I had full responsibility for building two Class 10000 clean rooms, purchasing equipment and hiring personnel for the production and packaging of these wound care products. When I returned to the U.S. at the end of 1997, that division had the capability to produce and package 30 million pieces per year and the company had begun trading on the London Stock Exchange.
